In 2022 and 2023 our team was asked to create Vis ID's for monthly campaigns based on social or cultural moments - including Mental Health Awareness Month, Women's History Month, Asian and Pacific Islander Heritage Month and more. It was an honor to work on a handful of these highly creative campaigns.
XBOX - MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS MONTH 2023
For a brand new social campaign for MHAM, I was prompted by the client to conceptualize a pixel scene that brought "cozy Xbox vibes". With ideation, nothing came close in my mind like a warm, fire with friends to characterize cozy so that's where I took this concept. And what better friends to bring in than characters from Xbox's own brand IP's? While the full scene proved to be too much of a good thing for the client, we ended up simplifying the concept to the campsite/fire and xbox sphere you'll see below.

XBOX - ASIAN AND PACIFIC ISLANDER HERITAGE MONTH 2022
For AAPIHM we had minimal prompt other than to provide authentic island and asian american inspiration to honor the peoples it represented. After a good deal of research into samoan, hawaiian and asian art and iconography, I merged much of those ideas and styles with what you see here. I brought together water, bamboo, palms and inky brushstrokes alongside a warm island color palette to bring a cohesive feel to this campaign. This was quite a fun project as I was able to hand draw quite a lot of it.
